Yarborough Stacked Alpaca Bangles
These alpaca-wrapped bangle bracelets are incredibly unique. The fact that they are handmade by artist/designer Elizabeth Yarborough in her East Village studio only adds to the appeal. Available in three different sizes, the large bracelet offers a bold look while the smallest version provides a more subtle look. Mix them up, stack them, or wear them alone. The options are endless and the black and white color combo pretty much goes with everything. buy them here. photo courtesy of La Garconne

La Compagnie de Provence is one of my all-time favorite beauty lines. I love everything they make, from luxe lotions to decadent soaps and bath oils. They also happen to have beautiful packaging, with sturdy glass bottles and vibrantly hued labels (they look super chic on the bathroom counter). Now I can take their lovely hand cream with me everywhere I go, thanks to the travel-size, 1oz portions of these luxurious concoctions. Right now the LCDP Rose Extra Pure Hand Cream is a must in my super-sized satchel. It’s a beauty essential for the dry winter months and a welcome indulgence for upcoming holiday travels. buy it
The holidays are pretty much here, which means after Thanksgiving we will be decorating our homes, creating wishlists and shopping for gifts. The Paddywax Luxe Collection of beautiful home fragrances is my latest candle obsession and it pulls double duty this season as a wonderful addition to my decor, as well as a great gift idea. I’ve been burning the Ceylon Tea (a citrus infusion) and Vetiver (a classic, herbaceous and spicy concoction). I love the vintage-inspired gold and silver brocade patterns on the glass. Shop
If you are a devoted reader of D~LuxeList then you’re already well aware of my love for LA-based line Mike&Chris. Let’s be honest... I don’t know too many fashion fans out there who don’t share this love. I can, however, attest to the fact that I was one of their first die-hard fans and I add at least one (but preferably two or three) Mike&Chris items to my wardrobe each season. Now, I already have my fall/winter ’07 items (the Ned Jacket, Bailey Hoodie and the Trevor Top). But I’m still lusting after this fine specimen of cozy winter sweater perfection. The Andy Sweater Coat is beyond perfect for the mild winter SoCal climate. The subtle lantern sleeves with mini button details are fantastic, as is the signature big button neckline and empire waist. Plus, it has a hood. What more can you ask for? The Merino-Alpaca blend is soft and warm, while the neutral oatmeal hue brings additional versatility and functionality to the piece
I’ve been searching for the perfect flat black boots for years. And the ones I truly love always seem to be far beyond my budget. These Louboutin beauties are certainly a lust-worthy selection at $1350. They are absolutely gorgeous and timeless. You could wear them with anything and everything (which might help justify such a splurge). I also love that there is actually a small hidden heel for comfort and a subtle boost. The understated beauty complements nearly every ensemble in my wardrobe. If only I had that kind of cash to spare. A girl can dream...
I’ve covered Rebecca Ciccio before on D~LuxeList, as well as Splendora, The Tip Jar and a couple times in CA Apparel News. Obviously, I’m a big fan. I’ve just received the latest addition to my Ciccio collection, the Mulberry in Charcoal, and it’s a beauty. One of the best things about Ciccio’s bags is that they are supremely comfortable to carry. The Mulberry is crafted from an incredibly soft, lightly tumbled, napa cowhide. With a black satin lining, this stylish tote is surprisingly lightweight. The straps are among the most comfortable I’ve ever felt, while still being functional. A zippered center compartment, zippered pocket and cell phone pocket provide much-needed organization options for this roomy tote. This is truly a fantastic bag and with classic good looks you can be assured you’ll carry it for many season to come. buy it
Many stylish contemporary brands are infusing their latest collections with organic fabrics. Though still a relatively small segment in the market, come springtime the numbers will continue to increase with big denim brands and well-known t-shirt designers introducing organic styles. Indie label She-bible is among the eco-conscious group of designers blending fashion and sustainability. San Francisco-based design duo Stacey Rodgers and Deirdre O’Boyle produce the line locally. Now that the temps have cooled off in SoCal, I’m cozying up in the She-bible Frankie Hoodie. It has a cute crossover neckline, comfy pockets and a flattering silhouette. Add some She-bible to your wardrobe and get 25% off when you enter the code DLuxe at checkout. Shop
