After all these years, Bliss spas still live up to their name. Despite the fact that baby boy had his afternoon kickboxing session in my belly during part of my prenatal massage, the Great Expectations treatment was truly amazing. The setup is supremely comfortable, which is not an easy task in a six-month pregnant state. The full-body rubdown was incredibly relaxing because my expert massage therapist knew exactly what I needed, paying special attention to my aching lower back and shoulders. I also love the specially blended aromatherapy oils, which are soothing and safe during pregnancy. As if the incredible body massage wasn't enough, they take the already blissful experience to a level of extreme bliss by ending the spa treat with a thorough foot rub and paraffin treatment. While stocking up on baby clothes for the little boy in my belly, I've received a crash course in kids fashion. I'm here to tell you that you have to put in some effort to find things that are unique and not covered in glitter, rhinestones, teddy bears and cartoon characters. I'd prefer that my child not be a billboard for the latest animated movie or toy du jour. My fellow fashion lovers can relate to the desire to dress your little ones in stylish duds instead. I know the clothes will get dirty, they will grow out of them, blah blah blah, but that doesn't mean I can't dress my kid in fashionable clothes that he will also love. Stylish kids clothes can be overpriced but if you are a savvy shopper you can find fantastic items on sale at prices that are at or below the price of onesies at Old Navy—no joke. I've scored better (and cheaper) finds at Lisa Kline Kids and Babystyle than the Gap. My advice is to wait for Lim's kids collex to hit the sale racks, because it inevitably will. But if you've got the urge to splurge and get it right now, buy it at
