AllyZabba Camo Baby Blanket
Every kid has a favorite blanket and if my babe doesn't fall in love with this one, I'd be more than happy to make it my own. Just call me Linus. When I read the brochure that comes with this amazingly soft blanket I was thrilled that it suggested mommy should use it before baby arrives (so that it will have my scent). Sure, the silky camo print is trendy and cool but it's also incredibly soft. And the plush fuzzy side is super cozy. I also love the fact that this stylish piece is lightweight and perfect for every season. I can't wait to bundle up baby boy and cuddle him in this ultra-luxe blanket. Available in two sizes and various prints. Buy it at AllyZabba.com

These shoes are undeniably gorgeous. My days wearing heels are few and far between—honestly, it's a rare occurrence. But I do appreciate beautiful shoes of all shapes and sizes and there are definitely times when heels are required. Whether I can endure more than four hours in said heels is debatable. So I always opt for heels that are on the more comfortable side and I do like a sturdy wedge. These Rupert Sanderson beauties are so incredible that I'm trying to come up with an excuse to wear them. I love the juxtaposition of the shiny black patent leather and the clean light wood platform. And the sexy peep toe and pretty mary jane styling... these shoes are just fantastic. Buy them at

Pearls are a classic accessory that every woman (young and old) should have in her wardrobe. Classic creamy white strands passed down from previous generations are treasured accessories and work well with contemporary fashions. But these are not your grandmother's pearls. Consider this a modern twist on a classic look—it's a little bit edgy but maintains elegance. With the cool white metal of the layered chains and the lustrous shine of black pearls, this Wendy Nichol design is a stylish attention grabber. Wear it with a sexy little black dress or with jeans and a tee shirt. For this pretty accessory, the are plenty of fashionable options. Plus, it's not too trendy or overly modern so you don't have to worry about it becoming a victim of your seasonal fashion splurges... you will wear this for many seasons to come. Earth Week has been a fashion frenzy for D~LuxeList, as exhibited by all of the stylish products featured below. "
The smell of fresh flowers is wonderful. I've found that lately my favorite perfumes are beautiful natural blends sans synthetic ingredients. I just sampled Red Flower's luxe collection of fragrances, all of which are hand and wild crafted certified organic blends of pure flower, leaf and bark distillations—they are fantastic. The musky Ambrette scent is my personal fave, made from scarlet hibiscus, rose absolute, bitter orange, orange flower, frankincense, black pepper and geranium. Company founder Yael Alkalay takes pride in making sure that all of Red Flower products are "100% vegetarian, never tested on animals and blended with mindfulness and purity." Buy it at
It's so great to see eco-friendly fashions going beyond great basics by offering super-stylish dresses and tops that are every bit as fashionable as your favorite contemporary lines. One of my recent discoveries is ecoSkin. I wrote a profile on the line for CA Apparel News and became an instant fan of designer Sandy Skinner. Launched with the Spring 08 collection, ecoSkin is sure to be a big hit in the sustainable fashion scene. I have two fab ecoSkin frocks in my wardrobe now: the feminine lace-strapped Clover top/dress and the Copper Dress (shown here). The Copper is a super-soft fabrication comprised of 67% Bamboo, 28% Tencel, and 5% Spandex. The banded hem, soft gathers at the neckline and elbow-length sleeves are cute details that take this piece from basic to beautiful. Buy the ecoSkin Copper Dress at
I love my SoCal digs but one thing I miss about my NorCal place is the large balcony that was overflowing with gorgeous potted plants. I look forward to the day when I have an actual piece of land so I can have a beautiful garden, but I digress. I wrote about the completely eco-friendly company Potting Shed Creations years ago when I discovered their cute Garden-in-a-Bag product and I'm thrilled the company has grown and continues to offer a range of pretty plants that are perfect for small patios and windowsills. Check out the adorable Garden-in-a-Pail collection. Available in mini and larger-sized galvanized pails, the perfectly packaged sets include gardening gloves and all the ingredients to grow petunias, zinnias, and sunflowers, as well as lavender, mixed herbs, and even tomatoes. Looking for some "green" jeans? I'm thrilled that I need not stray from my denim fave J Brand to find eco-friendly versions of my favorite styles. J Brand's Green Label jeans are made from a 10-ounce stretch denim that is 98% percent certified organic cotton combined with two percent Lycra. Continuing the eco pledge, the jeans are washed using a low-impact dye process yielding two new signature washes: Haight and Woodstock.
