Based on the tradition of Indian block-printing techniques, her new line Rikshaw is a distinctively bohemian baby collection that includes crib bedding, pillows and accessories. In beautiful colors, the whimsical designs feature stripes, animals and florals that are intended to be mixed and matched. All of the designs are hand block-printed on soft Indian cotton. When I first discovered San Francisco jewelry designer Jeanine Payer I fell in love with her work and the inspirational engraved quotes that are a signature element of her designs. It was such an honor to meet her, tour her studio and interview her for the first story I wrote about her line. Years later, she remains one of my faves.
